James Louis Policchio
A 2017 graduate and Student Bar Association member of Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, James represents clients in civil disputes and litigation, whether involving business disputes, contract breaches, civil tort claims, or consumer protection litigation under federal laws like the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). James also assists victims of identity theft, various frauds, as well as deceptive business practices.
Earlier on, James concentrated in general and commercial litigation with an emphasis on defending FCRA/FDCPA claims. That foundation shapes a balanced, strategic approach today: understanding how plaintiffs build cases, how defendants evaluate exposure, and how courts and juries tend to react to the facts that matter most. Now, James handles disputes involving identity theft, credit fraud, and resulting adverse credit reporting, debt-collection, and business torts.
